Here at Cineon, we’ve spent over 25,000 hours researching how eye movements can reveal what people are really experiencing cognitively, emotionally, and behaviourally. This research has culminated in the Empathic Learning Engine (ELE), our proprietary AI platform that translates eye-tracking and movement data into a wide range of analytics.

Using ELE users, including trainers, developers and researchers can measure:

  • Stress, workload, and fatigue levels
  • Attentional modes and gaze strategies
  • Task performance
  • Gaze behaviours such as fixations, saccades, blinks

These insights have already been embedded into several Cineon products. For the first time, they are now accessible via a web-based dashboard, making it easier than ever to explore complex behavioural data in a clear and actionable way.

Explore the ELE Dashboard

The ELE Dashboard puts the power of behavioural AI at your fingertips. Its features make exploring complex eye-tracking data simple and intuitive. At a glance you can:

  • Track key metrics: stress, workload, and fatigue
  • Monitor the user’s attention and cognitive states
  • Visualise gaze behaviour such as fixations, saccades, blinks, and effort

Highlight events of interest, zoom in, and scrub video to see exactly what triggered changes in performance

And this is just the beginning, with more advanced and bespoke dashboard features coming soon.

Turn data into understanding

The ELE Dashboard isn’t just about numbers. It’s about comprehension. By turning raw eye-tracking data into insight, you can:

  • Understand performance under pressure: see how stressful moments impact decision-making
  • Identify critical attention points: find out whether users noticed key events or hazards
  • Inform better decisions: improve training, safety, and engagement based on real insights

With context-specific models, ELE also has the ability to identify successful gaze strategies specific to a range of sectors. From pilots and industrial workers to special forces – helping organisations apply expert-level understanding to everyday tasks.

Integrate ELE into Your Applications

All these functions can be integrated into your software via an eye-tracker. This includes:

  • XR headsets
  • Smart glasses
  • Desktop-mounted eye-trackers
  • Even standard webcams

Whether you are building immersive training, simulators or research tools, ELE provides real-time, personalised insights to make your applications smarter and more responsive to user behaviour.

Making Complex Behavioural Analytics Simple and Actionable

The launch of the ELE Dashboard marks a major milestone for Cineon, bringing years of research in eye-tracking and behavioural AI into a single, intuitive platform. By transforming complex data into actionable insights, the dashboard gives developers and organisations a powerful new way to understand attention, cognition, and performance in real time.

As Cineon’s CEO Toby de Burgh explains:

“This launch represents the culmination of years of research and development. By bringing ELE’s models into a powerful, intuitive dashboard, we’re bridging the gap between complex behavioural science and practical application. We believe this will fundamentally change how organisations assess performance and personalise digital experiences.”
