Cineon exhibited at EATS 2025, the European Aviation Training Summit, where the team joined aviation training professionals, regulators, and technology innovators to explore the future of immersive learning and pilot competency development.

EATS 2025, held at the Estoril Congress Centre in Cascais, Portugal, is recognised as Europe’s premier event for airline training, bringing together the wider aviation community for collaboration and knowledge sharing across pilot, cabin crew, maintenance, and ATO training streams.

At the event, Cineon showcased TACET Walkaround, its flagship mixed reality training system designed to provide immersive, cost-effective environments that help pilots, cabin crew, and ground crew develop critical skills, including decision-making and human factors. Developed in partnership with Jet2, TACET Walkaround is on track to become the first VR-based pilot training solution of its kind to be approved for use by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

The event featured specialist conference programmes, keynote sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on demonstrations focused on the adoption of next-generation training technologies and improving safety and operational readiness across the aviation sector.

During EATS 2025, Cineon’s CEO Toby also took part in an interview with Atul Chandra, sharing Cineon’s journey in developing TACET Walkaround and the future potential of mixed reality and data-driven training.
