Cineon took part in the BMJ Future Health Conference 2025, joining healthcare leaders, clinicians, and technology innovators to explore how digital solutions are transforming the future of care.
BMJ Future Health is a flagship event bringing together the health and technology community to address some of the most urgent challenges facing healthcare systems, with a focus on innovation, patient outcomes, workforce wellbeing, and the adoption of emerging technologies across the NHS and beyond.
During the conference demo session, Cineon showcased two Mindset-funded projects tackling real-world healthcare challenges through immersive technology.
The first, iSAVE, is a VR tool designed to reduce healthcare anxiety through personalised, adaptive experiences. Initially developed to improve MRI attendance and patient outcomes, iSAVE has wider potential for use in other high-anxiety clinical environments.
Cineon also demonstrated ELE Stress, an immersive, self-led XR resource supporting NHS and police staff in managing workplace stress and trauma. ELE Stress provides personalised real-time experiences while generating anonymised insights to support organisational wellbeing and reduce burnout.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to share how Cineon’s immersive solutions are helping address some of healthcare’s most pressing challenges. Cineon also extended thanks to Mindset for funding and supporting both projects, helping to translate innovative ideas into real-world impact.
