Cineon was invited to attend the Jet2 More Than Just a Holiday parliamentary reception, hosted by the Minister for Transport, as part of a wider day of activity focused on skills, apprenticeships and the future of UK aviation. The event brought together MPs, ministers and industry stakeholders to engage with organisations supporting homegrown aviation talent and innovation.

During the reception, parliamentarians had the opportunity to experience TACETWalkaround, Cineon’s VR pilot walkaround trainer, developed in collaboration with Jet2. The immersive training software enables pilots to practise aircraft walkaround procedures in a virtual environment, demonstrating how modern training tools can support skills development, consistency and operational readiness.

For Cineon, the event represented an exciting opportunity to showcase UK‑developed immersive training technology directly to policymakers. Demonstrating TACET Walkaround in this setting highlighted the growing role of virtual training software in aviation and the potential for British innovation to support the future workforce.

Toby de Burgh, Cineon CEO said;

“This was an exciting moment for Cineon. Being invited to demonstrate TACET Walkaround to parliamentarians showed how far immersive training software has come, and the role it can play in supporting safer, more effective pilot training. Working with Jet2 to bring this capability to life has been hugely rewarding, and the level of interest we saw reinforced the value of UK‑built innovation in aviation training,”
